Delivering poetic justice during the Trump years.

I love the poorly educated, therefore I am yearning
to eliminate all funding that contributes to their learning.
The department in our government professing it imparts this
is now overwhelmed with radicals and zealots; also, Marxists.

I’m a very stable genius, and a graduate of Wharton –
yet I claim I came from nothing and have long been self-supportin’.
I became a billionaire backed by a yuuge loan from my father.
So, as far as education goes, my attitude’s, “Why bother?”

I believe that every state should be creating their own syllabi;
leave it up to local school boards as to which rules won’t and will apply.
Therefore, if you’re white and well-to-do, you shouldn’t be ashamed of it,
and whatever for minorities goes wrong – you can’t be blamed for it.

Schools are teaching children lessons that are harmful and subversive,
so let’s get back to the basics – like HomeEc, and writing cursive.
We need lessons focused on our nation’s semiquincentennial…
But will kids know how to spell that word? It seems unlikely any will.
