I railed against Joe Biden and the border – though this pleading
called on fury and an anecdote that were, at best, misleading.
While the tale that I recounted had its basis in reality,
I lied about the circumstances, timeframe, and locality.

Insinuating Biden’s watch, and his misrule should trouble you,
the fact is that this all occurred while governed by George W.
Suggesting this abuse took place within our country’s border,
I then said a drug cartel had served the role of her transporter.

Yes – the victim does exist, and while the incident was actual,
the details I embellished with all fell way short of factual.
To take this horrid incident and use it for crass purposes
confirms my party’s reprobate, just like a third-rate circus is.
