Trump, In Verse

Communists, fascists, and Marxists; radical-left thugs and vermin:
I’m mouthing phrases resembling those used by one evil, damnable German.
Brushing aside civil discourse, I want to let all the noise in –
that’s why I say those disease-ridden migrants are tainting our bloodlines with poison.

Insult, disparage, belittle: all things that I do routinely.
I extol dictators, autocrats, despots and all those who subjugate meanly.
Erdoğan, Xi, Bolsonaro; each has spent time as a favorite.
While I can’t spell “demagoguery” – it’s now abundantly clear that I crave it.

Sinister threats from the inside, graver than from outside forces.
Bombast encouraging rage, xenophobia, cruelty – as it of course is.
I loudly spell out my vision; clearly it’s clouded with dudgeon.
I’ll keep my short fingers clean and count on all the MAGA-types wielding the bludgeon.

Weaponize federal bureaus; box opens – out pops a genie.
If I see somebody doing quite well, beating me: I’ll go full Mussolini.
Spitefulness and retribution: think “revenge,” not “inspiration.”
Please vote for me so that I can continue demolishing our once-great nation.
